The memorial wall reflects the Veteran information established from initial research, which the City received from a historian. All of the following qualifications must be met, to be included on the memorial wall:

  1. The individual must have served during the following war dates listed on the memorial:
    1. Civil War (1861-1865)
    2. Spanish American War (1898)
    3. World War I (1914-1918)
    4. World War II (1941-1945)
    5. Korean War (1950-1953)
      1. Korean War Veterans who served after 1953, must have received a service medal (Korean Service Medal, United Nations Korean Medal, Republic of Korea War Service Medal) to be eligible for memorial wall
    6. Vietnam War (1956-1975)
    1. The individual must have been a resident within the city limits of Rogers or Hassan township during the time they were serving in the war.

These requirements allow the Veteran’s Memorial wall to have a consistent reflection of our hometown heroes who have fought to protect our freedom.

Please attach a copy of the veterans’ discharge papers in order to verify military information.

For living veterans, who meet all of the qualifications listed above, will need to download and completely fill out a consent form. 

For deceased veterans, who meet all of the qualifications listed above, a family member may download and completely fill out a consent form. Also, please make it clear if the Veteran perished at war or not.

The completed consent forms may be dropped off or mailed to the Rogers Public Works Office, where the consent forms and residency information will be verified before sent to the engraver. These requests are at no cost, and will be engraved upon confirmation and sufficient quantity. 

Please have all completed information submitted by the cutoff date, July 1st, to ensure engraving in 2015.
