The Rogers Fire Department accepts applications year-round for paid-on-call firefighters to establish a hiring eligibility list. The Rogers Fire Department responds to over 800 Fire/E.M.S. calls annually, providing service to Rogers, Corcoran, and Otsego.

Firefighters must be 18 or older, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., and hold a valid M.N. driver's license. No experience is needed—the department provides all required training. The selection process includes an oral interview, physical agility testing, background check, physical examination, and drug testing. Firefighters are paid for responding to fire calls, training, and meeting attendance and are eligible for membership in the Rogers Fire Department Relief Association.
