The City of Rogers Utilities Department will begin flushing approximately 900 fire hydrants on Monday, April 1, 2024 through Friday, May 3, 2024 (weekdays only).

This process aids to: (1) verify proper operation of the hydrants; (2) evaluate available flow to the hydrant; and (3) remove sediments from the water lines.

Flushing will be done between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During this time, you may experience temporary pressure changes and discolored water which can be remedied by flushing cold tap water in a laundry tub or outside spigot until the water runs clear.
