Watering Restrictions
Rogers Water Use Restrictions
The City of Rogers watering restrictions are in effect from May 1 – September 30th. The restrictions apply to all City water customers.
Odd/Even Rule
Water customers must follow an odd/even watering schedule. Homeowners and businesses with odd-numbered addresses may water on odd-numbered calendar days. Those with even-numbered addresses may water on even-numbered calendar days.
Homeowners’ associations and apartment complexes that provide a common irrigation system may water only every other day. Homeowners’ Associations and apartment complexes located north of Interstate 94 may water on odd-numbered days and those located south of Interstate 94 may water on even-numbered days.
Watering Time
Municipal water may not be used to water lawns, outdoor gardens, sod, or seeded areas between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
New Lawn Exception
Property owners with new sod or seed do not need to follow the odd/even restrictions during the first 30 days of planting by obtaining a New Lawn Water Exception Permit signed by the City. Overseeding an established lawn is not considered new seed. The designated watering time is still in effect.
Download a New Lawn Water Exception Permit application and either email the completed application to phouser@rogersmn.gov or mail to:
