SEASONAL LOAD LIMITS

On January 13, 2025, the Minnesota Department of Transportation began winter load increases on unrestricted highways in the METRO, SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST frost Zones. For additional information regarding MnDOT’s frost zones, restricted routes, and start/end dates, please visit mndot.gov/loadlimits.

Weight restrictions do not apply to emergency and service vehicles such as fire trucks, utility service vehicles, buses, and garbage trucks.
