SEASONAL LOAD LIMIT NOTIFICATION

SUBJECT: Spring load restrictions end in the south, southeast, and metro frost zones.

• The Minnesota Department of Transportation will end spring load restrictions (SLR) in the SOUTH, SOUTHEAST, and METRO frost zones on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 12:01 AM.

• Please check with local agencies prior to increasing any weights on their routes. The sign erected on the roadway governs the load limit in effect.

Please note: Weight restrictions do not apply to emergency and service vehicles such as fire trucks, utility service vehicles, buses, and garbage trucks.
